Humans aren’t trustworthy enough to be true friends down here. A dog, on the other hand? Perfect. Your cyber-mastiff has seen just as much combat as you have, with just as many augments to show for it. He’ll sniff out and eliminate enemies for you like the best boy he is. He even has his own full upgrade tree to make him bigger, badder, and better.

A SPRAWLIING, CUSTOMISABLE ARSENAL

Your armory is a sprawling collection of guns, grenades, blades, and other, even deadlier weaponry. Pick your armaments from the Underhives vast selection of deadly weaponry. Right from the start you have your pick of bolters, autoguns, long-las rifles, plasma guns, power knives, grenade launchers, and much more.

• Shotgun: Sturdy, Reliable, nothing better out there for unloading at close range.
• Bolter; They shouldn’t even have these explosives around spitting death machines down here but it didn’t stop the Goliath carrying them to batttle.
• Plasma Gun: As high-tech as it gets, and an Escher’s favourite toy. Too hot to handle.
• Grenades: When all else fails, contact-triggered high explosives will probably do the job. And if one doesn’t, make sure you’ve got a handful more.
• Graviton Gun: You probably dont even want to know. Just make sure the bad guys are at the business end

ENTER HIVE WORLD NECROMUNDA

Hired Gun takes place in the deepest reaches of Necromunda, one of the billions-strong hive worlds of the Imperium of Man in the dark future of the 41st millennium. Based on Games Workshop’s famous Warhammer 40,000 IP, Necromunda is where millions live and die every day scratching out a basic living in a universe of warring gods and vicious tyrants. It is a place of lawless gang warfare holding together a society of scavenging, crime, and corruption. It’s damn good for business.

• House Goliath: Man-made mountains of muscle, they’re vicious, huge and heavily armed. Watch out for heavy weapon after heavy weapon and be prepared to pump a whole of firepower int them to take them down.
• House Orlock: Industrious and rich for it, Orlock are hardy foes with no particular specialty. They’ll swear at you, shoot you, and send the dogs after you, and hopefully you’ll survive until the end to do the same right back at them.
• House Escher: An all-female gang of chem-dealers and worse-besides, Escher have access to plasma weaponry and a whole lot of viciousness. You’ll mostly find them defending them chem labs and other interests around the under hive.
