Best new video games coming out in November 2021

Estimated reading time: 5 minutes

November is knocking at the door, and it promises to usher in some exciting new titles for gamers. We know a lot of VG Stores’ faithfuls are still enjoying the single player fun in Far Cry 6 – I personally can’t get enough of Guapo – but November’s titles are generally for multiplayer fun. It is probably a good time to get the squad together online and offline for some quality gaming time.

It has been some time that we last had a Battlefield game; since 2018 to be exact with the release of Battlefield V. All of that is about to change with the impending Battlefield 2042, which goes head to head with the release of Call of Duty Vanguard for fans of shooting games. For many gamers, it is not really a competition considering the year on year success of the Call of Duty franchise. However I am a keen proponent of keeping an open mind, and I suggest you read further to find out what both titles offer you. At the end of the day, each new installation is a new chance for both franchise to win your heart again. Who knows, you might fall in love with both.

It looks like Forza might be copying from Battlefield (or vice versa), as their last release Forza Horizon 4 was in 2018 as well. They have now returned with Forza Horizon 5 which promises all manner of excitement for Xbox owners. It is time to put that Series X to the test. The final game we are excited about for November is one for everybody – Just Dance 2022. Wait, what? You are a G and … nothing, because this is for EVERYBODY. You don’t agree with this, comment below so I can defend my position. Read below for more information about these upcoming titles.

Just Dance 2022 brings back family fun, and it is just in time for Christmas. Get your dancing shows ready. and prepare for a dance off. The game will feature 40 new tracks which includes contemporary songs, as well as beloved classics. The full song list is not out yet, but it is known that the game will feature artists like Billie Eilish, Imagine Dragons, Taylor Swift, K/DA, etc. We hope when the song list is out, some afrobeats would be on it. I have been practicing my Ayra Starr dance move. See more on what to expect from the game here.

Just Dance 2022 is out on 4 November for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Call of Duty Vanguard

The blockbuster game franchise is back with another interesting take, this time in a World War 2 setting. During the campaign, players control special forces agents from different nations (such as Lt. Polina Petrova from the Red Army), who are trying to thwart the plans of Gestapo and SS. A brand new Champion Hill mode presents an interesting take on battle royale by letting players’ team face the opposing squads one at a time. There is more information about COD Vanguard here.

Call of Duty Activision is out on 5 November for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Forza Horizon is a racing game that leaves gamers wanting more.Similar to the previous games, the protagonist takes part in the Horizon Festival, a series of racing events. This time the action is set in Mexico. The game is set in an open environment and there is a lot of exploration, targeted races, and even photography missions. You can see the car list available on Forza Horizon 5 here.

Forza Horizon 5 is out on 9 November for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Battlefield 2042

Battlefield returns with a global dispute in the not so distant future. The highlight of the game is thethe 128-player lobbies, which means matches feel like a real clash between two armies. Battles become more dynamic thanks to weather effects ranging from light rain and fog to full-blown tornados wreaking havoc. Terrain can also change quite a bit over the course of a single match due to craters left by the more powerful explosions. There is a lot to take in with this upcoming title and you can find out more here.

Battlefield 2042 is out on 19 November for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
